How do fires change how many trees are killed by less rain?

Abstract:
Trees help people by helping keep the air cool and giving us places to have fun, but fires and less rain kill trees. People explain where trees will die if there is less rain by looking at which types of trees died in the past, but how people explain where trees will die doesn't consider how trees killed in the past by less rain or fire will change how many trees will be killed by less rain or fire. Also, we do not know much about how trees killed in the past by fire will change how many trees will be killed by less rain. To see how past fire changes how many trees less rain will kill, we asked: 1.) How does the age of groups of trees change how many trees will be killed by less rain? 2.) How does the number of trees killed by past fire change how many trees will be killed by less rain? We found the age of groups of trees by looking at where and when past fires happened in groups of trees. We used pictures taken from space before and after a not long ago time with less rain to see where trees died across our state. The age of groups of trees with long round leaves explained where trees died after less rain. Starting to use the age of groups of trees would help better explain where trees will die after less rain and could let people act to help trees continue helping people.
