Abstract:
Activism and movements are essential drivers of social change. As we face historic global crises such as the pandemic and climate change, federal policies have restricted science, eroded public health, and brought harm to marginalized communities. In response, unprecedented numbers of scientists have been getting involved in organizing and advocacy over the last four years.
Join us in this critical moment to discuss the successes, shortcomings, and lessons learned from recent campaigns and movements in support of science and social change, as we organize for a more just and equitable future.
