THE 1997 SOLAR INDUCED CLIMATE CHANGE FORCED EAST AFRICAN LAKES SUDDEN RISES

Abstract:
Altimetry satellite observations records document sudden sharp rises in East African Lakes levels in 1997. This sudden level rises marked the 1997 solar induced climate change. The sun undergoes 80-120 years cycles known as Wolf-Gleissberg cycles. At the bottom of those cycles 3-4 weak solar cycles of 12 years duration occur. Such weak cycles are potential hazards sources. The start of the first of those weak cycles caused solar induced climate change. This solar stimuli caused strong El Nino followed by La Nina events. In response, sudden abrupt rise in the level the East African Lakes occurred. Similar abrupt level rises occurred in 1878 with the start of the first weak cycles of the series. El Nino warm water enveloped the East African shores increasing evaporation resulting in excessive rainfall over East Africa and caused sudden level rise of Rift Valley lakes. The following year, cold La Nina water replaced the previous year El Nino warm water and caused drought over this area thus sharp rise in Rift Valley Lakes occurred.
