Abstract:
The City of Los Angeles is investing $8 billion in a Potable Water Reuse and Drought Resiliency Program at its Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant. The program aims to maximize water recycling and simultaneously recharge groundwater basins in the greater Los Angeles Area by injecting treated wastewater into the ground. The presentation focuses on the diverse range of jobs and careers of those involved in taking this ambitious initiative from planning through construction and into long-term operation.
