A Comparison of Air Dispersion and Statistical Models Predicting Air Pollution in South Korea
A Comparison of Air Dispersion and Statistical Models Predicting Air Pollution in South Korea
Session ID#: 123431
Session Description:
With air pollution being a serious health problem worldwide, there is a need to develop both accurate and simple modelling method in order to make prediction less time consuming and easily relate with human health security. In this study, we aim to compare and analyze the accuracy and effectiveness of several models including both dispersion and statistical models as mentioned before. Comparing and analyzing different types of models could be summarized into a development of effectively combined air pollution prediction model, which would contribute for an efficacious urbanization management planning and decision-making, controlling air pollution and related epidemiology rates.
