Gravity Field Determination: Acquisition, Analysis, and Geodetic Applications of Terrestrial, Marine, and Airborne Gravity Data

Session ID#: 156805

Session Description:
Gravity data from terrestrial, marine, and airborne instruments are fundamental to geodesy. Many other disciplines also rely on either long term monitoring of the gravity field (tectonics, uplift, subsidence), or higher frequency measurements (hydrology, volcanology), or both. This session is dedicated to advances in instrumentation (quantum or classical, relative or absolute), acquisition techniques, processing methods, as well as novel data applications and models. Submissions on work related to gravity, such as the gravity gradient, deflection of the vertical, and relativistic geodesy, are also welcomed. We encourage your participation.
