The Art and Science of Evaluation
Session ID#: 161484
Session Description:
A genuine understanding of the value and impact of educational experiences requires intentional planning. The complexity and nuance of the context of each project guide the choice of design, methods, and measures to best understand how, when, and why effects occur. This session brings together different stakeholder to highlight this planning, different methodologies, and challenges and affordances of different choices. Presentations may include evaluations to demonstrate evaluation design as well as how evidence is used to understand impact. We invite presentations from a variety of contexts including K-12, instruction outreach, informal education, public engagements, and post-secondary education
