Soil, Water Conservation, and Climate Smart Sustainable Agriculture Technologies for Food Security
Session ID#: 162037
Session Description:
The world is facing the challenge of feeding an additional 2-3 billion people by 2050, despite growing uncertainties in climate change, decline in soil and water quality and increasing environmental and ecological damage. As conventional agricultural practices alone cannot solve these food production goals, we need to, develop, promote, and leverage the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and geospatial technologies frameworks to ensure food security through Climate Smart and Sustainable Agriculture production systems. The proposed session will evaluate and assess the application of AI and geospatial technologies to address the pressing challenges in agriculture and natural resource conservation
