Supporting Student Research in Online Learning

This paper will discuss the Virginia State University History Department’s project to support online students by creating a website of diverse open-access research materials, supplemented by gamified e-learning on topics such as Creative Commons resources and spotting misinformation, and reflect on ways to use such resources to increase student engagement.
