| Adarsh D. Radadia, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, University of Illinois, 600 S. Mathews St., Urbana, IL 61801 Following two topics summarize the works accomplished in my Ph.D research. (I) Separation of organophosphate species on a microfabricated GC column My main contribution to the microGC research was to provide design rules on how to build microGC columns including effects of channel configurations and turn geometries, passivation and coating methods. The research work presented at TRANSDUCERS '07 investigated dispersion effects applicable to lab-on-chip devices involving separation channels. (II) Three Dimensional Microfluidic Laminates (3DMFL) Dry Film Resist (DFR) has been used previously for making fluid handling microcomponents. My contribution is to develop a method to use DFR for fabricating devices with multilayer of microfluidic channels. A split-split-join type serial lamination mixer was demonstrated at MEMS'07.
