Goals/Purpose:

Aesthetic plastic surgeons face significant operational challenges that impact efficiency, financial management, and patient engagement. This study aims to identify key pain points in practice management, assess the role of AI in addressing these issues, and explore potential solutions for optimizing workflow and automation.

Methods/Technique:

A structured questionnaire was conducted among aesthetic plastic surgeons worldwide to evaluate common hurdles in daily practice. The survey covered aspects such as client acquisition, financial management, staff retention, software adoption, and AI integration. Responses were analyzed to identify recurring challenges and opportunities for improvement.

Results/Complications:

Findings indicate that surgeons struggle with:

  • Reliance on multiple, unintegrated software platforms
  • Limited ability to track employee performance and revenue breakdowns
  • Lack of customization and poor support from software providers
  • Challenges in automating patient follow-ups and documentation
  • High costs and workflow inefficiencies

Although AI tools like ChatGPT, marketing automation, and image processing software are being adopted, surgeons express a strong need for improved AI-driven solutions to enhance business intelligence, streamline administrative tasks, and optimize patient management.

Conclusion:

Our study highlights the urgent need for AI integration and workflow automation in aesthetic plastic surgery practices. Addressing these pain points can enhance operational efficiency, improve financial tracking, and elevate patient experiences. This presentation will discuss practical solutions and invite collaboration to develop tailored, technology-driven strategies for modern aesthetic practices.
