SAY HER NAME: Women Martyrs & Movement Builders
Session Abstract
A four day installation curated by the Museum of Impact, #SayHerName, is a women’s focused pop up exhibit with artwork, interactives, memorials and artists’ talks centering women as makers, martyrs and movement builders, surrounding the social justice mandates of the modern day.
MOI travels the country creatively activating spaces, fusing conscious content art and history to inspire action and build power. We create pop up experiential voyages into the heart of social movements, where visitors participate with all senses and transform from bystanders to Upstanders. MOI is chronicling movements of the people, having partnered with renowned institutions like Brooklyn Museum, The New School and Columbia University Teachers College.
