Lola Kantor-Kazovsky is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Art History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. One of her specializations is postwar modernism (nonofficial art) in the Soviet Union. She is the author of Reinventing Jewish Art in the Age of Multiple Modernities: Michail Grobman and Leviathan group (Brill, 2022). Her current research project - Art and Cultural Politics: Sixty years of the Russian Avant-garde’s Reception in Art, Scholarship, and Museology - is supported by Israeli Science Foundation.
