Infographics are powerful communication tools that enhance visual understanding and reduce reliance on written text, making information more accessible across language barriers. A prominent panelist, a pioneer of narrative infographics in South Korea, and a recipient of multiple international design awards, will present a range of infographics focusing on Korean history and culture. Key topics will include Hangeul, the Korean alphabet; King Sejong's pivotal role in its creation; physician Heo Jun's contributions to traditional Oriental medicine; the conventional wedding ceremonies of the Joseon Dynasty; the March 1st Korean Independence Movement; traditional Korean cuisine; and an overview of Seoul, the capital.

In South Korean education, history is often taught through rote memorization. However, understanding the causes and effects of historical events is essential. Innovative visual methodologies are being developed to improve comprehension of historical relationships. Visual communication surpasses text and plays a crucial role in this educational shift. For instance, a widely distributed poster illustrating the March 1st Korean Independence Movement gained significant recognition among educators. As artificial intelligence continues transforming the design industry, designers are encouraged to adopt strategic approaches to integrating AI tools. This entails collaborative design processes emphasizing brainstorming, thorough research, data accuracy, and mind mapping. Organizing core information and conducting in-depth analyses are critical for this transition, marking a shift in design education from basic visual techniques to a more systematic and comprehensive approach to design and development.
