Third ALAA CAA Second ISLAA-ALAA Encuentro for Latin American and Latinx Art at CAA

The ISLAA-ALAA Encuentro for Latin American and Latinx Art aims to increase the visibility of Latin American art studies and support emerging scholars in the field. This annual gathering is held during CAA’s Annual Conference, the largest convening of art historians, artists, designers, curators, and visual arts professionals. The program invites an established scholar in Latin American or Latinx art to deliver a keynote address for all CAA attendees. The event will be followed by a reception where members and scholars can engage in discussions and mentorship opportunities, and strengthen community connections.
