The Rice Annotation Project Database (RAP-DB) provides users with the up-to-date version of the reference rice genome and its annotation including cDNA-based gene structures, inferred gene functions, etc. Recent advancements of DNA sequencing technologies enabled us to determine multiple genome sequences in a short-term and in fact a large number of the genomes of rice cultivars and wild rice accessions are currently available. Therefore, it is of particular interest for rice genomics researchers to display tens or hundreds of rice genome sequences in an effective manner. Here we show our web-based genome browsers, TASUKE and Short-Read Assembly Browser (S-RAB), which present a reference genome with some other resequencing data. Users can overview SNPs and their possible effects to phenotypes.
