A Highly Efficient and Cost-Effective Way of Gene Expression Profiling Using RNA-Seq

RNA-Seq provides a powerful tool for gene expression analysis, but so far it has not been the most cost-effective way compared to the traditional technologies of the microarray and qPCR. We wish to present a new RNA-Seq library prep method of QuantSeq which utilizes next generation sequencing for gene expression profiling in efficent and cost-effective way.

The QuantSeq protocol generates only one fragment per transcript, resulting in extremely accurate gene expression values. The quantitative expression level of each gene can be demonstrated by the number of times the sequence is detected. With additional modules it also enables targeting of specific genes and measuring their expression level by sequencing.
