QTL mapping and comparative genomics are used to identify candidate genes underlying heat tolerance and resistance to feeding damage caused by flower thrips. This poster also summarizes recent applications of bead-assay SNP genotyping and genetic mapping to develop marker-trait associations using experimental populations of cowpea.
