Design of an Axiom® myDesign™ Genotyping Array for Four Ornamental Plant Species

This presentation will describe the creation of a customized, cost-effective, multi-species genotyping microarray for ornamental plants with high commercial value. This array was jointly designed by Affymetrix, the ornamental plant breeder Agribio Group, and two of Agriobio Group’s subsidiaries: Fides (Netherlands) and Barberet&Blanc (Spain). It can be used for many applications, such as construction of genetic maps, LD studies, and identification of genomic regions and genes involved in commercially important traits.
