DNASTAR’s Lasergene Genomics Suite for RNA-Seq Assembly and Analysis of Non-Model Organisms

DNASTAR offers an integrated suite of software for assembling and analyzing sequence data from all major next-generation sequencing platforms supporting key workflows on both a desktop computer as well as the DNASTAR Cloud.  Our de novo transcriptome assembly workflow employs the DNASTAR SeqMan NGen, SeqMan Pro, and ArrayStar applications, all components of the Lasergene Genomics Suite. RNA-Seq data is assembled in SeqMan NGen, and the resulting assembly is visualized in SeqMan Pro.  ArrayStar is then used for downstream gene expression analysis. By using innovative algorithms within the software, scientists can have all of the assembly and analysis capabilities available to them on either their desktop computer or the DNASTAR Cloud, supporting large data sets generated by any or all of the next-gen sequencing instruments and platforms.
