A mapping population is F2 138 plants derived from Da-Ol#1 crossed Da-Ae. Da-Ol#1 characterized high oleic acid content in seeds and Da-Ae characterized high erucic acid content. A genetic map was constructed with 80 SSR markers and 130 SNP markers. Quantitative trait loci (QTL) were analyzed using fatty acid composition of F2:3. Using composite interval mapping analyses, 2 significant QTLs for oleic acid and erucic acid content were detected, respectively. QTL of highest LOD score related to oleic acid content were mapped on LG14 and explained 34% of the total phenotypic variance. QTL related to erucic acid content were located between FPBPN0044 and FPBPN0399 on LG6 and explained 49% of phenotypic variance.
