Recently, the development of next generation sequencing (NGS) techniques has led to high-throughput sequence analysis and thus dramatic increase of genome information in public databases. This information can be used to develop genome-wide molecular markers for breeding because of extracting hundreds of thousands SNPs from NGS. However it is difficult to process the omics data for breeding program because it is not only large amount data but also high complexity. In addition, the genome data need to be associated with the phenotypes of agriculturally important traits such as disease resistance.

To further broaden the utilization of the genome data, analysis pipelines that user analyze easily from NGS, interpretation system that integrate into accumulated data and database that search relevant information have to develop preferentially. So we are constructing an analysis pipeline and SOP (Standard Operation Protocol) for NGS data and will develop genomics-based omics database that associate phenotype from reworking from accumulated NGS data. These systems from this study can benefit seed industry because it used as a priori information in breeding.
