Genetic maps are an important visual tool to summarize and explore genetic data. As genetic markers sets get more dense it is more and more important that the graphical user interface of a genetic map viewer is fast. Limitations in this respect in other popular software led us to develop a genetic map viewer, Dmap, based on current web technologies. The tool displays interactive and highly responsive dense genetic marker maps combined  with QTL locations. It supports display of tetraploid genetic maps. Dmap[ source code is available from github (https://github.com/MFlores2021/DMap) as is an online demo. Future plans include integration of comparative viewing features.
