Integrated Geophysics to Illuminate Subsurface Insights

Session Description:
Single-method geophysical analyses are often challenged with resolution and ambiguity, particularly when addressing complex subsurface environments. This session is dedicated to innovative approaches using integrated geophysics and exploring collaborative method use that overcomes traditional interpretive challenges. Topics include informed, joint, as well as coupled processing and inversion frameworks that leverage complementary measurement information across datasets using advanced computational strategies. This session seeks presentations of informed inversion guided by hydrological and biogeochemical constraints, AI-driven workflows for adaptive inversion, and methods to quantify uncertainty in these collaborative geophysical approaches. We will also highlight innovations in data preprocessing, filtering, and cloud-based platforms that enable scalable, real-time processing of large datasets. Case studies will demonstrate how these integrated approaches improve interpretability and decision-making in environmental, resource exploration, and engineering applications. By fostering collaboration between geophysics and emerging digital technologies, this session aims to showcase best practices and future directions for high-resolution, integrative subsurface imaging.
