Science and art collaborations are incredible ways to add depth, create emotional connection, and increase accessibility of scientific research while highlighting the importance of art. Forming those collaborations, however, isn’t always the easiest and collaborations often halt before they begin.

This session aims to change that on a small scale and learn from the process. We want to pair scientists and artists to create work that we can share with each other and discuss what works and what doesn’t. We welcome all forms of scientific stories (ex: data, research protocols, findings) and all forms of art.

Scientists and artists, please tell us about your project or practice and how you seek out interdisciplinary connections.
