ED010
Building STEM Learning Ecosystems to Maximize Impact
Session ID#: 81668
Session Description:
Engaging the public in STEM involves a plethora of methodologies, venues, programs, curricula, and opportunities to learn. Each component contributes to pathways that influence STEM literacy of individual learners. It is the combined impact of these factors that constitute a STEM learning ecosystem. The key to understanding the health, stability, resilience, and sustainability in an ecosystem is to identify and examine the interactions of its diversity and resources.
The purpose of this session is to provide a forum for sharing various components within a STEM learning ecosystem that broadens participation and quality of experience for all STEM learners. The session will leverage the strategies and approaches of NASA science activation, collaboration, and learning resources and initiatives. We hope to attract submissions from diverse contributors to this ecosystem that will help us define what has been produced, what have we learned, and what innovations are possible for our future collaborative efforts.
