Where are Fellowships in Art History Going? Cross-Program Data from Selected Scholarly Programs

Four long-standing residential scholarly fellowship programs in art history (The Center, Clark, Getty, and SAAM) have compiled data on their programs over their long histories, starting in the 1960s. This aggregated cross-program data reflects significant patterns of past support, highlighting evolving funding trends. The two speakers will advocate for the need to compile and sustain data from our own institutions, while also emphasizing the importance of sharing this data with the wider community and reflecting collectively over significant trends and developments.
