Insights from Graduate Studies

Since January 2025, the new administration has brought rapid and radical changes to higher education —which affects Art History together with the rest of the academy. As Graduate Chair at the University of Pennsylvania, I will share some of the impacts the quickly shifting landscape has had on graduate education, funding and research, and what implications these may have for the future of art historical research.
