Usage of NGS data for plant breeding is still increasing at rapid pace, aiming for increasing crop yields and making it more nutritious. The sparks of gold leading to these improvements are buried in large volumes of data. GENALICE MAP is used by e.g. KeyGene to better handle the large volumes of complex plant DNA data and identify high quality mutations to accelerate this process.

MAP is a comprehensive NGS secondary data analysis suite that not only speeds up the standard workflow from FASTQ to VCF, but also can be applied to collect large amounts of mutations in one central repository, the GENALICE Variant Map or GVM. The Population Calling module forms the basis of this repository, a breakthrough new approach to perform multiple-sample calling with unprecedented performance characteristics.

In this presentation, a complete product overview with specific Agbio use cases will be provided to the audience.
